I ordered this book based on recommendations. I was fully prepared to hate it, though, after reading what it was about. I was sure I was going to hate the author and her stuck-up, snobby, rich girls ways. Well, I was SO wrong! It was such a good book, I literally laughed out loud! Has anyone read it? I thoroughly enjoyed it. |

I just finished it, the more I read it, the more I liked the book. I share your feelings about the book! |

I like the book also and also liked Bright Lights, Big Ass. I did not, however like Such a Pretty Fat at all. I do have Pretty in Plaid on my wishlist. Hoping she redeems herself. |

I did not like this book at all. I found Jenn obnoxious and annoying. the story dragged and was boring for me. |

I hated this book. I wanted to like it because I heard such great thing, but I just couldn't handle it.
It seems that you either love or hate this book. |

I thought I would like this book too but ended up hating it :-) I was happy to mail it to another PBS member - hope they enjoyed it more than I did. |

I like her writing style, so I enjoyed the book. Most of the women in my "stuffy" book club did not. |

I guess I'm one snarky bitch 'cause I thought it was hilarious. I want to be BFF's with Jen Lancaster. |

It's very fun to read everyone's different opinion about this book. |

I read it when it first came out, before the hype, and I truly enjoyed it. I liked her second two but haven't been too impressed with her last two. I still continue to read her because I enjoy reading about her crazy life. |

I've read all of Jen Lancaster's books and have loved them! I even just posted Pretty in Plaid to another PBS member. I just recently bought all of Laurie Notaro's books because I thought they seemed similar to Jen's. I hope I enjoy them just as much! |

I loved it. Made me laugh out loud in places. Got bogged down a few times, but overall a great book. Passed it on to my 22 year old daughter who is suffering the angst of not finding 'worthy' employment after graduating college (many girls like Jenn were in school with her)...she also loved it...planned to pass it on to someone else here at PBS, but it has disappeared...if it resurfaces I will post it... Such a Pretty Fat is on its way to my house as we speak |

I started listening to this on a trip but just couldn't get into it. So, I pulled the ear plugs. |
