Is #6 the last, other than the Black Dagger Guide coming out this Fall?  I hope not, but can't find any other information.  I know she had a short story coming out in the fall, also, but I want a BOOK!!!

I love this series! I admit that #5 was my LEAST favorite...  My favorite was  Rhage, followed closely by Zsadist.

Does anyone else have faves/not faves?

I think Rhage and Zsadist have been my favorites so far, too.  I really appreciate that Ward doesn't use the plot devise of driving the couple apart forever until the end of the book, but I had trouble getting into Butch's story, just finishing it now, and feel it is going on a little long, but 5 and 6 are right next to my chair.

I have favorite brothers (V and Tohr), but I can't remember which books I liked best.  I need to re-read and see.  I'm still working my way through Lover Enshrined.

So far Lover Enshrined is my least favorite.  I still love Wraith so Dark Lover is still my fav!

I started the series just to have something to read, but quickly got past that and really am amazed at how she weaves a plot. There aren't too many books anymore that I stop and think about how amazing the twists and turns are.  The main reason I liked Rhage and Z's books so much is the depth of the characters - ok, it's not Pulitzer Prize time, but the men's thoughts and reactions - very deep...and when Phury shot his own leg, I almost dropped the book.  I think another reason I enjoy her writing is that she has males reacting in very male-emotional ways, but when she tells us their thoughts, it makes so much sense - and makes me laugh half the time.

I liked all of them.  The sixth book, Phury's story, was my least favorite.  I know he was troubled but did he have to have so many problems you could barely keep up.  I think I would have liked it better had she not put the wizard in there and just kept with the drug addiction.  Where did the wizard come from anyway?  There was no warning in the other books.

I think the wizard was just his inner voice, and since the other stories weren't about Phury, there was no need to include his inner voice.

Did anyone else put off reading these books because of the cover and the titles?  I know I did.  I thought it was going to be one of those crappy* romance novels that are not my type at all, but it so wasn't.

*apologies to anyone who reads crappy romance novels  ;)

I'm in agreement with Endoux - the covers and titles are so not what they seem! I'm totally addicted to this series...I've gotten through the first 5 books within a couple of weeks. Zsadist fan I am, but can't wait to start with his twin's book "Enshrined" (on my table right now). These books are keepers - sorry not posting!

I had read the first three, had 4 and 5 for quite a while, then bought 6.  I decided to reread the first three since I had forgotten a lot of the background, before reading the others. I'm now on #5, after reading 1-4 last week!  I keep telling my husband that, despite the covers, there is a really good story going on!  LOL

Yara - I wondered the same thing.  There is one copy available on Amazon for $14 but no description.  I couldn't find one on BN.com either.

Yes, I agree. It does look like a German version - I think of Wrath's book.  Blutopfer means "Blood Victem".

Hmmm I had no idea JR Ward was also Jessica Bird. Turnouts I just picked up one of her books at the library and thought it was pretty good. Small world. I think Lover Revealed is my favorite, just reread it over the weekend.

OK - just finished Phury's story - didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the first books in the series - too much angst, I think and not enough of the interplay BETWEEN the man and the woman (I felt that way about V's story, also) - that's part of the reason I enjoyed the others so much.  I do like the fact that she does keep the other characters current.

Loved Zsadist's the best because I liked his heroine - Bella. Next is Rhage's story.

My least favorite is Phury's book - brother has too many problems and his heroine was blah. Also, JRW did not focus much on him in his book. There were too many subplots running in that book causing distraction to Phury and Cormia.

My favorite was also Zsadist's story.  I just thought it was a great story line with two wonderful lead characters.

My least favorite was Phury's.  I found myself skipping the sections with him & Cornelia.  I enjoyed the other story lines more.
