I have acquired  Lover Unbound which seems to be the fifth book in this series.  Does it stand alone?  Or do you need the back ground from the previous books?   Is it a keeper or a poster?

I would read the books in order.  There is so much that is in the first books about the "lessers", etc.  You also get an insight into all the characters and how they interact and grow with each book.  I really liked the first 4 and then the story line started to get a little strange........................but this is how I usually feel about a series that last too long.laugh

Read them in order.  They are definitely keepers!  Some think that a couple in the middle aren't quite as good as the first ones, but, in my opinion, #7 and #8 (Lover Mine, which I read in a single day yesterday and is FABULOUS) make it more than worthwhile to contiue with the series!

Janice...my two cents...You really need to read them in order(as the  previous posts stated and def all a keeper!!!)  Each book is good in their own right...Each character is endearing in their own way..  I agree with Renee,  Lover Avengend #7 and Lover Mine #8 we're Awesome!!!

I did re-read Phury's book , Lover Enshrined #6, but instead of concentrating on Phury's story as the main...I used the other stories as the main and Phury's as side...made dealing with that blasted wizard a bit easier...LOL.... I also recommend the Companion as well...Feel me?

I hope in the future Ward decides to write a book about the Females  the brothers have taken as their shellan's ....I mean we are now one BIG happy family....eh...

I ordered the UK version of Lover Mine .... Anyone have this version? Anyone know if UK releases are usually the same text as the US version?

I've only read the first 2 and I would say read them in order.  It probably wouldn't throw you off too much to read them out of order. But it would probably be like starting a movie halfway through that you haven't seen before.

I strongly recommend reading them in order.

BDB books I offered are now spoken for.
