Just lost most of a weekend day to this book; after reading the first few chapters, I just couldn't put it down! It's an excellent page-turning thriller, but still creates three-dimensional characters you come to understand and care about; and its premise scenario is sufficiently plausible to be truly chilling. Don't start this book late at night unless you're willing to lose a lot of sleep time.

This book was amazing and scary at the same time. The possibility that what happened in this book COULD happen in our real world, really made me think. Fast-paced and exciting-I couldn't put it down until I'd finished it!!!

I've been reading this book during every spare moment I could find this week. It is a real page-turner! Everything moves fast and there is never a dull moment. It's a thriller about oil which has been contaminated thru-out the world. Between the real-life calamity in the Gulf of Mexico and this book, oil has been the only thing on my mind.
This is the first Bob Reiss book I have ever read but you can bet it won't be the last. The guy can really write.
