If you went to Catholic school, this funny and warm-hearted book is a must. Powers tells stories that will have you remembering things you hadn't thought of in years and laughing with him.

some of it was laugh out loud funny, some of it was crude, some of it was boring. So something for everyone!

Very funny, esp if you grew up in the 60s or 70s and went to a CAtholic school or wondered what it would be like if you did

This was the first humorous book I ever read about growing up Catholic. I read it back when I was a young teenager and it really made me laugh out loud. A funny book about being young and growing up Catholic. My siblings also enjoyed this book and if you are or even were Catholic, you can certainly relate to the thoughts and events here. I think he wrote three books, this being the second one, the first is "The Last Catholic in America" There is a third one but I did not enjoy it as much and would not recommend it.
