I enjoyed this book. Though it was a little light on the romance (I like more romance and passion) and a bit heavy on the suspense and police procedure, the story was good.

New Orleans homicide detective, Charlotte Le Blanc, views a crime scene's evidence, a chilling reminder of her sister's murder six years ago.

The suspect pool includes the victim's soon to be groom and his four sons. From the beginning, there is a great attraction between Charlotte and Cole Stratton, the oldest son.

The story twists and turns around the five Stratton men. The murderer kills two other women before Charlotte follows clues to the past and learns why her sister was killed. That leads to the who.

I enjoyed this Metsy Hingle book. I have read others by her and this one does not disappoint. I liked the mystery with a little bit of romance mixed in. The setting is based in New Orleans which always gives a little extra zing to any story. I recommend this book to others.
