a secret sacrifice...for the need of a child, an heir....a secret surrender...the love of a woman..the only woman...
More like 2 1/2 stars (wish there was an "OK" star rating)
I really wanted to like this book because I enjoyed her other book, Warrior Bride. This book however fell short. It was a bit slow, but I forced myself to keep reading. However I ran out of patience and scanned through the last 50 pages. Though the ending fell flat, I have to say, it did make me curious to find out what happened to Alaiz.
Anyway, needless to say this book will be posted and ready for PaperBack Swap circuit.

About this title: In the time of the Crusades, Lady Juliana Kinthorpe finds herself torn between two knights who were once good friends and now are enemies.
I thought that this was a good story. The ending almost left room for a sequel, since it felt quite abruptly ended, but other than that it was a great read.
