If you go to USPS.com and type in the zip codes and the weight it will give you all the options for mailing your package and you can see which method is the cheapest.

If it can fit into an large envelope that will be a different rate than if it is a package. The weight will be based on what it weighs when packaged.

Put it in a LARGE poly envelope bag or some other very light mailing thingy, and send it First Class.

For an entirely flexable and non-breakable item, I agree with Greg.
