This was a great book! Not your usual John Grisham but you need to read it.

I thought this book was excellent, enhanced by the fact that the author is also the reader. It tells of the impact on one's life that a coach and partiscipation on a sports team can have on a life.

Talk about bringing back memories. This was a powerful story that I hated to see the end come. You don't have to be a football fan to enjoy this one.

This is a good audio. The story is ok. However, I can't be too choosey because John Grisham read his own book. So even if you don't like football you should still read it beacause of Grisham doing the audio.

John Grisham has taken a detour from the types of stories he usually writes. This story is about a football team and its coach, but not in the way you think it is. Even though I'm not a big fan of football, it held my interest from start to finish. It's a story about the players and their coach, and about achieving a goal regardless of the obstacles, and about never giving up.

CD audiobook on fictional town near Atlanta and the football team and it's coach, players and fans. Title comes from a part of 'workout before game'. Read by author and friend.
