A real page turner as Ben Kincaid defends his best friend and former co-worker Christina. She has been charged with murder. Ben knows that this is a job for which he has no experience. The judge (another former co-worker is prejudiced against Ben but Ben and Jones his male secretary give it their all.

Kincaid hurdles more obstacles than seemingly human and the book kept me wondering if he was going to make it to the end! A quick, page-turning read.

I began to read this series because of its locale. Now I read one for the pure enjoyment. This is another great Ben Kincaid novel.
