I loved this book. IT was a facinating look at a princess that runs to America to get away from the customs that want her to marry someone she despises. IT was very interesting how the author gets behind the eyes of this woman that has been hidden behind all this cloth. When she comes to Amaerica and removes all that material from her body and is exposing herself for the first time it is amazing to read the emotions behind that transformation.
This story is a definately page turner. Many twists and turns. Very action packed. You will be up all night reading this great story.

I really liked this book. The main characters are likeable and the pace is fast enough to keep you turning pages, but not so fast that you get left behind! I believe anyone interested in the spiritual aspects of the book will be well pleased. Seth and Miriam both progress spiritually throughout the story even though it remains a conflict between them through most of it. The story of the Saudi princess trying to escape the bondage placed on women by her faith and her country is a pleasing one and you will find yourself rooting for her from the beginning! Great story and well worth the read! You won't want to put it down so it should be a quick read, but pleasing!

This is the first Ted Dekker book that I have read. WOW! Loved the storyline, loved the character development, etc. Gives one insight into the life of women in Saudia Arabia. Makes me very thankful to live in the United States.
