I am having difficultly in adding blinkies to my signature line.  I searched for tips and followed them but I still can not get them to show up.  I looked at the size of the one I'm adding and it is below the maximum height and all that.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Make sure it meets the specs: Valid file types: gif, jpg, png Maximum filesize: 20kb Maximum Dimensions: 75px x 550px

Also theres a tutorial on my profile that might help you.

Since the new reduction in how much we can have in our signatures this seems to be more and more of a problem.  IF I were you I'd delete the sentences above and any empty spaces.  THEN try adding your blinkies and see what that does.

I have a suggestion--JUST SAY NO!!  LOL  I don't mind one or two little animated things at the bottom (like the cute smiley in the hammock on Cozettes), but the flashy glittery blinkies (not like Chris B's but the really BIG ones you see sometimes) are reallllllllly annoying, and when there are more than 2 or 3 of anything it just becomes visual "noise" IMHO and too distracting... I read the forums for the messages, not the silly decorations.  I for one am delighted that the site owners reduced it!!

Patricia you can opt not to see them. Hover over the my account tab and select settings. Then scroll down to the forum settings box and find the four options: show other members signatures, show other members signature images, show link to my book list and show link to my wish list. Select NO in the images option then click update forum settings.

ETA Nancy Cozis right (its in the tutorial actually) you only get 250 pixels worth of space so your blinkies are probably just getting cut off. Put your cursor just after the last bit of text in your signature and delete then update. Your blinkies will probably show then.
