Is there a way to block a certain member from purchasing any of your books?  Having a problem with someone and I do not want her to have any contact with me.  Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

There is no way to block a member. You can keep a list of members who you don't want to deal with and cancel any requests from them. But having said that, the odds of getting a request from the same member through the FIFO system are very small.

If you make your bookshelf private, it will stop another member looking at your bookshelf and ordering direct from from you - if you feel there is  personal issue with another member, and they may be out to "mess with you".  This will not stop a random FIFO request from a member you'd just rather not mail to again.

If it is just a case of you don't want to deal with them if they happen to request a book of yours through  the FIFO queue, that is extremely unlikely, and, as Sally wrote above, you could always keep the name somewhere, and cancel the request if that happens.

You didn't mention this in your original post, but if a member is harrassing you, please contact the Admin. Team by clicking on the "Contact Us" button located at the bottom of any page and sending in "Feedback" to report them.  You will receive a reply by email and not a PM.

What they said.  PBS does not offer an option to 'block' members from dealing with one another, but it's unlikely you will randomly run across this person again FIFO.  If you are concerned about ordering directly from your bookshelf, change your privacy settings so only friends can see your information.  And finally, if this is an ongoing harrassment issue contact PBS admin.
