First off, so we don't upset TPTB, this is not for promoting your blog or a friend's blog. I'm thinking along the lines of mentioning those really cool, lesser known blogs that focus on those historical tidbits, houses, clothes and people that history geeks like me (and hopefully the rest of you) gobble up like a cat with cream. Here's a few to start. Please share your favorites.
Daytonian in Manhattan. A new one for me, this focuses on those older homes and buildings in Manhattan (of course).
The Cabinet Card Gallery. This blog features those old cabinet card photos from the 1800s. Love it.
Treasure Hunt National Trust Collections. Ooooooh.
Cathy, thank you for sharing these! What wonderful blogs, although, let's all admit it, in this instance, another word for "wonderful" is time-suck! I love architecture & wish I knew more about it, so the Daytonian will be particularly fascinating to me and then the Treasure Hunt is simply made for us, is it not ?!?
