What a great collection of short stories! Very eclectic, and I loved every one of them. Super read, and so easy to put down for a day or two and then jump right back into. Highly recommend!
Very, very funny stories. One of my favorite anthologies ever.
Really not worth the effort to even open.
Book of horror/paranormal stories by bestselling authors. I bought this mainly for the story by F. Paul Wilson and J.A. Konrath (big fan of both). Although I was disappointed with their story "The Sound of Blunder" there were a few others I enjoyed. My favorite was "Mr. Bear" by Joe Lansdale, a new author for me. Mr. Bear managed to be twisted but funny at the same time with its premise--Smokey Bear as a crazed but needy serial killer. I don't read the paranormal vampire/shapeshifter fiction but there were several stories by major authors that looked good.
This is a collection of 21 horror stories by various authors. I read this book specifically for the Kelley Armstrong and Jim Butcher stories, both of which I enjoyed. I also read the Charlaine Harris story and have to say that I didn't like it at all. I couldn't believe that it was actually her writing. The style was just strange. After skimming some of the other stories in the book, I give it a rating of 2.5 Stars.
Such a disappointment. I skimmed over most of the stories and found nothing there to hold my interest. Would recommend that you not waste your time with this one.

I just skimmed over most of the story's in this book and didn't like them. The authors on the cover have written stories but its mostly the "and many more" which is in small print on the cover and they are not worth the time to read them.
Matt Venne's short story in this collection (Elvis Presley and the Bloodsucker Blues) won the 2009 Darrell Award for Best Midsouth Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror Short Story.
Now, if I could only get my hands on a copy of the actual anthology, we could see what other goodies are in it.
