Basically it's paranormal (sort of). An avenue for steam to roll off the pages of a book that's put in the romance category. Escalate Laurel K. Hamilton and make it MUCH more lightweight. This is not a BAD book and the writer is fairly good at the turn of the phrase but some women will probably be offended by the images of total voyeurism and group activities that run rampant throughout including a steady reference to menage. If that is what you are after then go ahead and give it a read. I would buy it again which is the BEST review I can give the author!

A fairly good new author. This story is almost identical to her previous title...historical, vampire hunter, menage. Pricy large format, I will probably get future titles through library or trades.

I thought that this story was okay. It wasn't the best I'd ever read, but definitely decent enough to finish. I sometimes did feel that the author could have been more descriptive for several scenes (that weren't sex) because I think it would have made it a better overall read. As much as I read these for the erotica, I still want a good story and at times it made it feel like she wanted to get action scenarios done quickly and didn't worry about making sure they were polished and more detailed.
