"Dr Evelyn Sutcliffe works and thrives in an urban warzone--battling death every day in the ER of Manhattan's University Hospital. But even her superior skill cannot save Shellery Reinish--a fellow doctor, a close friend and apparant suicide--dead from a drug overdose. This the time Reaper has won, leaving Evelyn distraught and devastated, and questioning her abilititeis as a healer.

Or was it suicide after all?"

Excellent page turner, I finished it in a single weekend and the ending was nowhere near what I expected.
