I have to say, as a long time James Patterson fan, I was quite disappointed with this book. It is a "quick read" which was published in England. To be perfectly honest, it doesnt even read like any of Patterson's novels. Written with British language, and doesn't seem to be written by a man who has been on the Best Seller lists for all of his long career. I wouln't be surprised if he only lent his name and the basic plotline to it and someone else did the actual writing. Only 122 pages, and with large print, it took me a few hours to read it. Aside from that, it wasn't even that great of a murder mystery. Maybe I am just used to the high quality of the Alex Cross and Women's Murder Club series, but I was not impressed with this book at all.

This is a short story written for the 'quick reads' series

It isn't great but isn't too bad, it is just a 'quick' story, there isn't that much mystery to it as it centers around a family and it won't come as a surprise as to who the killer turns out to be but short stories can't and don't offer much in the way of a great storyline.

I can recommend it for it is a 'quick read'
