I flew through this one back in the 90s and found it one of the best historical romances ever. Very poignant and touching.

Wonderful story about a wounded heroine, Belle who dreams of dancing the waltz. The hero, Stephen is a stuffy businessman in Boston. Once he sees Belle, Stephen wants nothing more than to protect her. Has some great secondary characters including Stephen's younger brother Alan and servants who also love and protect Belle. I rated the book A+ with little sex.
