I play and coach chess, and highly recommend this book to anyone starting out in the game. It doesn't use chess notation, so it's a great first book. You read it once through and then turn it upside down and read it again - a fun format. My 7 year old daughter consumed it, marked it up, and hopefully will read it again and again!

A graded course in mating techniques, intended primarily for the beginner. I greatly enjoyed the fact that several actual game endings from US championships of the past were included and I guessed those right. A must have, in my opinion, for those who want to get better and need direction.

Learn to think the same way Bobby does. This is the secret. Your will be put in increasingly complex situations where you will be required to think and move the way Bobby Fischer does. You'll be a better player after you take Bobby Fischers Chess Course. It works.
