I just finished reading "A Body in Berkeley Square, and loved it. The characters of Captain Lacey and Lucius Grenville are intriguing and the development of their roles is fascinating. Captian Lacey is a proud and difficult man who believes in justice and retains his innate sense of right and wrong. This book is a quickly-paced read with engaging characters and a great plot. Ashley Gardner made a hit when she created the character of Captain Gabriel Lacey of the 35th Light Dragoons.
A must read.

This is my favorite Regency mystery series. In this one, Capt. Lacey solves the murder of a guest at the mansion of Lord Gillis. His old friend/nemisis, Brandon, is blamed. A good one.
