A new twist on forensics and murder mysteries. This book is about a forensic sculptor. I had never heard of that before. It gives a new slant to murder investigation, while telling a riveting mystery story.

Ms. Johansen is a good writer. I've read most of her books and I was never disappointed. The only thing the reader had to know is that they should read them in sequence. I didnt so I had to go back but in the end it was worth it. She has a nice easy writing style that allows you to read the book quickly.

Part of Eve Duncan series. This was one of the better ones. I enjoyed the characters more in this book because they seemed more real. I thought it had more emotional scenes that read well.

Great mystery about a Forensic Sculptor who tries to recreate the dead to find the Killer. It is set in Baton Rouge. Eve is married to a detective and though she wants "out" of helping to solve mysteries she can't stop. If you have not made Iris Johansen one of your favorite mystery writers you certainly will after reading any one of her books.

I enjoyed this book although it had a high body count and a very stubborn main character. The plot was well thought out and kept me guessing as to who was one of the bad guys. I will probably read other books in the series.

This is another winner. This time you see political manipulation of bureaucracy, an FBI that bumbles a bit, and angry exchange between two lovers , and bombs.

Eve, the forensics sculpture, is once again the central figure. She works her way through personal problems, discovering a lost one, threats to herself and her family, and a spotlight on Galen, who is a mercenary hired to protect her.
