Easy read, entertaining as well. Not the greatest piece of literature but its a romantic mystery and first installment of a future series.

This book is over 400 pages long, but it will whiz right by.
I have noticed this book did get stellar reviews, but it is what it is. I doubt it was meant to be an ophrah BOM. Stephanie Bond wrote romances before this series. There isnt any sex scenes really, just a few tingly moments that get interrupted.

This book is the 1st book in the Body Movers series, but right away I notice that there were references to our main characters being arrested before. And references to some hijinks with her best friend Hannah, and Jolie. So I did some googling, and Carlotta, and her friends were in a novel called Party Crashers. This might be worth reading first. I didnt have it on had, so I read this one without the other books info. I am under the impression that in Party Crashers, Carlotta isnt a main character, her friend Jolie is.

So about this book, I thought that the writer had enough talent to make the characters interesting. I found their situation frustrating. Frustration means something is blocking your goal. The characters goals were often blocked. I found myself frustrated, by their frustration, but there is more to the series, and I think books 2 and 3 will find more of satisfying outcome for all the characters.

This series isnt as quirky as Stephanie Plum, and the main character is smart, and doesnt make bungling mistakes. There were not enough concrete clues before the murderer reveals himself. But these types of books are required to have a few red herrings.
