This book is serving its purpose, introducing me to different massage therapy modalities and so far its pretty accurate. Here's an idea of the table of contents: Swedish Massage, Infant Massage, Sports, Geriatric, Myofascial Release Therapy. Neuromuscular, Shiatsu, and Reflexology. Trager Approach, Manual Lymph Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Rosen Method. Rolfing, Hellerwork, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method. Reiki, Polarity, Therapeutic Touch. This isn't a technique book, it explains what each modality is, what its used for, and then explains what a session might feel like to a client. Some modalities include references to refer to. This is great if you just want to know whats out there and want to learn a snippet of each one, to then decide what you want to specialize in.
