I have been reading Taylors Temptation by suzanne brockmann. In the book Colleen's friend Ashley is in it talking about how she fell in love with a guy. But he was being paid by her father. Is there a book about Ashley?

I don't think so.

I just did a quick search for "Ashley" in the synopses of books by Brockmann. Sorry. Ashley doesn't have a story of her own.

Did you finish the book? I have this idea that their story is at least sort of resolved by the end of the book, but I don't remember exactly.

I finished the book. The only thing said about her was the lawyer that her father paid came looking for her. She went and stayed with her aunt. He went after her. Then she came back home upset and wouldn't tell colleen were she is going and was quiting school. At the end Colleen is wanting to try and set her up with some of Bobby's friends. Her name is Ashley Dewitt. If she doesn't have her own book, does anyone know if she is mentioned in another book as a secondary romance.  Thanks for the help!!

Team 10 fans have asked for years for Ashley's story.  But it was a no go.  And now with the author no longer with that publishing house, it looks like fans are definitely out of luck.

Isn't Bobby and Colleen's story great?  But Wes DOES get his own story-heroine is sister in law to Mel-heroine of Everyday Average Jones.  For the life of me I can't remember the title of Wes' book-but it'll be listed at her website.

I s'pose I shoulda gone to Brockmann's website days ago...

From her FAQ:

"Q:  Do you have plans to end your Tall, Dark & Dangerous series about Navy SEAL Team Ten for Silhouette Intimate Moments?

Suz:  To be honest, I intended to continue the series, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do now that the Silhouette Intimate Moments line has ceased to exist.  I was flummoxed, too, when Silhouette changed the format, making the Intimate Moments significantly shorter.  (I don't write short very well.  My novella is a good example of that -- it's longer than most people's novels....)  So right now I'm not sure what's going to happen.  I DO know that I still have quite a few stories left to tell.  I've been wanting to write Thomas King, Rio Rosetti and Mike Lee's stories, and I've had a book outlined for Ashley (Colleen Taylor's friend) and the SEAL nicknamed Spaceman for years now...  (Here's a fact:  if a writer wants to tell a story, it will be told.  Somehow, someway.  Have faith in that!)"

Downside is that the FAQ was written in 2007 (based on the abbreviated list of Troubleshooter titles, although there are updates re: newer books), so it may be one of those stories that never gets told.
