So I got a good book deal a few days ago and when I tried to send the sender a pm I'm told they're no longer a registered user.

They are supposed to be en route to me so....

Will I still get my books?

If so then what will happen?

If the books don't come what will happen?

Thank you

They could have mailed them before they closed their account.  Maybe they just decided PBS wasn't for them. THey could have run a deal to get rid of their books and sold or spent all their credits and closed up their account.  Or they could have been closed by PBS for some reason.  If the books go lost, you'll get your credit back and the books that PBS has a record of you ordering (not the freebies) will go on your reminder list.  If they show up, just mark them received.  If they used DC they they probably already have their credit.

My guess is you're not going to get your books and they'll go lost.

Are you sure they have been marked mailed?  If they time out without getting marked mailed the system will automatically pass the request on to someone else who knows nothing about the deal you made with this other person.  If they aren't marked "mailed" and in the Enroute To Me tab-keep an eye on them so you can cancel the transaction as soon as it passes on to someone else.

Was this a deal in the Bazaar or directly from someone's shelf?  It could make a difference.

It's also possible that there is a glitch with their account, and their membership is on hold until everything is straightened out.  You could check back in a few days.

It was a book bazaar deal...just 2 for 1, but I was really looking forward to them. They have and were marked as mailed before the account was closed. The sender had sent me a question and when I went to respond, it says the account of the person has been closed.

Thanks for all your help!!

OK - Richard won't be able to help you out with the extras that the person offered you, but if the person has knowingly and willingly given up their membership, then you WILL get your credits back for the books that actually show up as you having ordered them from the person's shelf.  What will happen, is if and when the books time out as having been lost in the mail, you will automatically get your credits back for those particular books.  The freebies, however, are a different matter - since they won't actually show up as having been ordered from the person's shelf.  OTOH, the whole thing could just be some sort of misunderstanding, and you'll get all of the books no problem.  Either way, you'll have to wait a little bit to find out.  Hope they arrive!
