I recently received a book that should have had a CD ROM with it.  It is supposedly a disk with "Trial Versions" of genealogy programs.  Is this book something that I can re-list?  Or does it go to the book bazaar?

The description of the book notes that it should come with the CD ROM, none of the book information listed when you plug in the ISBN number shows it.

Thx bunches, Lola

If the book originally came with the CD, it should  have been sent with the book. This is from the Help Center:

Supplementary/Accompanying Materials:
  • Books that require supplementary Media materials MAY be Posted

    • supplementary Media materials include CD(s)/CD-ROMs/DVD(s)/VHS tape(s)
    • if the book originally included supplementary Media materials, the supplementary materials must accompany the book for the book to be postable.

Did you get it from a PBS member? It should not have been posted w/o the CD.  Any books that come with a CD or cassette have to have that item to be posted.

I agree that the disk should have come with it BUT it is for trial versions of other software and not really (IMHO) supplementary info that pertains to the book.  However, the rules are the rules.

I feel the same way about the tear out maps that you would use and therefore tear out of the book!
