This book listed separate ISBN numbers for both stories included in the book rather than just one; therefore, my copy is of The Secret Books of Paradys I and II and contains both The Book of the Damned and The Book of the Beast.

This author's writing style is so beautiful and haunting that you can't help but get pulled into a story as soon as you start reading it. At times, it's almost like reading poetry. The stories were strand and interesting. They don't exactly drag but move at a slow and deliberate pace where you are wondering what will happen next. It's also wonderful how they are all tied together.

âThe Book of the Beastâ
This is another sequence of stories written in this author's beautiful style of writing. All are in some way related and all good reads for those who enjoy a wonderfully written, almost poetic, story.

Try the Flat Earth series instead, it's much better!
