Yeah, I just bought 5 books from them a few weeks ago. Some books were an incredible deal and you can't beat the free shipping.

The only thing that I found disconcerting was that the books arrived individually and the invoice that was included for each book didn't mention the other books. I'm use to seeing an invoice that has my invoice number and lists everything - these invoices had the invoice number but just listed the book that was sent - no mention of any other books. Not a big deal - my books came over a week period, but it just seemed a little odd!

I love this site and their free shipping.  I have pre-ordered some books at a great discount.  I don't understand why they send out books individually, but I'm reusing those white padded envelopes the books came in.:)

I ordered Lord of Scoundrels at 1/2 price no less from them. It still hasn't got to me yet. But they do have some sweet deals on there.

Me too Allie, but from my dad, my DH is lets just say he is less than mechanically inclined. So I had to go to my dad and he says I just built you two last year and and I say yes, but 14 and 15 are filled up already! I need 16 and 17 ASAP! :-)

Yeah I pre-ordered the new Outlander book a few weeks ago.  Got free shipping and it was cheaper than Amazon!

I think I am going to order some from there too.  I put 6 in my basket and it comes up to $29.95, and I don't think I can beat that even with my Borders coupons in the store.

My problem is that I'm pretty good not buying UNTIL I see something on sale. And then - forget it! I can't seem to buy just one book - all of a sudden there's 4+ books in my cart and I'm looking at more and more books. It's a disease I tell ya!

Well, I didn't last long:P  I ordered about $46 worth of books and if the shipping is as prompt as everyone says, it might become a staple.  I don't have tons of free time to shop right now & cheap books + free shipping?  I'm all over that.

I looked up the books on my WL that I really, really want.  The prices at this site were much more expensive for those.  Even paying shipping, I can get most of them much cheaper on Half.com.  Heck, some of the books I looked up, they were charging more than the cover price!

I only found a couple of books that were cheaper and, really, it was literally pennies cheaper over Half.com.

Trade size books seem to be similar to other sites. But the books that are good deals..are good deals :)

The WL books I ordered were $2 or more cheaper.  All of the ones I could actually find there anyway:P  They're also pretty good on the craft books they have from my WL.

Kim, I ordered my LoS on the 21st and I got it yesterday here in Texas. They shipped them from England.

I've found that some of the prices change - I originally went there because someone here mentioned that Lisa Marie Rice's newest book (Dangerous Passion) was on sale there (50% off). Bought the book (and of course several others). A few days later, the LMR book was "only" 28% off. So I find I'm going there every so often to see if there are any other deals on my favorites/WL books.

I probably ordered more than I normally would from someone I'm not familiar with just because of the prices.  The mmps average about $2 less than what I pay for them locally, but that's without coupons, although I rarely get coupons that would take a good percent off the total purchase price - it's usually 30-40% on one book.  This was good because I got 3 romances from my WL plus 3 craft books I've been wishing for (and those were very inexpensive), and I came out under $50.  I couldn't have done that at Borders or even ordering from Amazon.

Did anyone realize they have What A Dragon Should Know for 3.49? G.A. Aiken. I ordered a copy on 8/31. It doesn't say preorder, so it maybe got released in the UK first?

Thanks for posting the link, Pam!  Wow, I could go crazy there.

One question for those who have ordered from them - how do they ship? USPS? UPS? I'm curious because it does make a big difference for me, unfortunately.

Thanks, Anne. USPS would work very well on my end.  I went to the weekly library sale this morning - ack, I won't be going to it again til I'm on vacation next month. and now with The Book Depository just a couple of clicks away. Hooooboy.
