ISBN: 97696

I KNOW you are not supposed to re-use these, but I couldn't resist on this one. (Okay, I cannot type what I am thinking without starting armageddon, so I will just go directly to the edit question)

I did use this PBS-assigned ISBN to post to my shelf. It had nothing but the title, author publisher and the first line off the back of the box. It was in all lower caps.

So I edited the  information, corrected the lower case, added the rest of the description. It got approved extremely quickly (WOW, guys!!!)

At first, the Upper case correction only showed up on my bookshelf. Book detail page showed no corrections. (Not even with a hard refresh) I waited awhile and sent in another edit (on this one I tried to change the classification to religious, instead of business/financial)

Now the corrections are showing on the book details page, too.

But pat robertson remains lower cased and the classification is still business&investing.

My question is: Is this intentional? *snort*! Or does it have to do with the new author clean-up, where it will take two members approving the correction?

It just happened again on The Bartokk Assassins (Star Wars Episode 1 Adventure Game Book 2) :: Ryder Windham

The correction (Stat to Star) shows on my actual bookshelf, but not on the book detail page ?

The book details page did accept the description, too.

This is what I submitted from the back of the book and it is showing:

A band of Bartokk assassins is in possession of many unusual Trade Federation starfighters.

They have also kidnapped an innocent child.

The Bartokks will stop at nothing to destroy you.

May the force be with you.

It just did not accept the title correction this time. (Can you tell I have nothing to do at the moment?)

We have noticed that for some reason, corrections take a day sometimes to actually come thru after being approved, Dartha. We have discussed this in the corrector's lounge, and haven't come up with any consistancy to it either. If it hasn't been a day since you made the changes, wait to see if they come thru tomorrow. DO NOT ask me how part of the change can come thru and another part not, cuz I surely do not know the answer, but I have seen them catch up! I have also seen them need to be resubmitted when only half comes thru the next day.

I know it is not always the approvers doing this, because one of the approvers did her own approval, and had this happen to her. So, she knew it wasn't the approver only approving part of it ;)

ETA: Take that first part out of your post. I don't want to know that. I'm keeping my eyes shut so I don't read it again. I don't want others to see it either. hahaha Atleast cross it out, how's that? :)

What? You want to talk about Pat Robertson or not?  rotfl

(I know what you meant) I have no problem with that if you think it is necessary. However, it is a bit like shutting the barn door after the goat got out, you know?

hahahaha just helps to indicate to others that it is wrong to do that and you recognize it but that it wasn't a MAJOR deal since the original posting didn't have anything really in it :)  yep, shutting the door afterwards, but putting up a couple boards so that the rest of the horses don't come out :)

ETA: Or goats as your case may be :)
