I really enjoyed reading about such an exceptional woman in history. I had never heard of Eleanor until PBS and this book makes me want to learn more about her and her family. Good historical content, but a little to cheesy on the romance side. Still a great read though.

I really enjoyed this. I've read a number of books with Eleanor as a main character, and this one has a genuinely different take on her. Well written, too.

If your looking for a historical fiction novel about Eleanor I wouldn't suggest this novel. It's not a bad read I just don't like it when an author plays fast and loose with the facts.
I think this might just be one of my favorite historical novels of all. The story was great and the writing very good.
