A "neo-gothic" type mystery with an edge of romance. This is a story of a weary traveller who lost his wife, returning to her inherited home to find a mystery awaiting. Quick and entertaininge read.
Excellent book, great read, mystery, and love in one, couldn't wait to finish it to see how it turns out.
Part history, a great mystery, spirituality and a bit of romance all combine to make this fast paced story a good read. Set in modern day rural England.
I loved this book. My rating is a full 4 stars not 3 1/2. Anyway, the power of prayer, the process of healing from the loss of a loved one, and a little history added make this a wonderful read. I am not putting it on my bookshelf because I want to read it a few more times. The characters could have had more depth, but I not holding it against this book too much.
