I took all of my books off of auto-request about 6 weeks ago. A book my husband wanted came up as available, I accepted it and it eventually went lost in the mail. It showed up the very next day so I marked it recieved. Apparently, it still went on my wishlist as auto request. Is there a way to make this not the default? Or have a choice? Now, I have another copy of this book on the way :/

I don't think there's a choice--if that book was autorequested on your list before, it ends up autorequested again. I had a book go lost recently and it did the same thing--I checked later that day and turned the auto-request off, and yep, the book did show up a few days later. Fortunately another copy didn't come available in the meantime so I didn't have to deal with 2 copies of the book, though.

Thanks, Cheryl... that makes sense... It was just odd timing... and of course it was a newbie that got stuck dealing with me on it. Luckily, I caught him before he left for the PO :)
