this is the book of the Dead and the book of the Mad.
Interesting until the final chapter, which provides an unsatisfactory resolution to the stories. No crazy about the penguin.
I was nearly disappointed that this series is over. This is another collection of stories written from the view point of several characters from different versions and/or time periods of the City. I was once again submersed in my reading by the tales and very glad that I took the time to read through this series.
