I made a 3 for one deal in the Book Bazarr and today recieved 2 of the books in one manila envelope. One of the books was the one I ordered to get the 2 free ones. But only got one free one. and , want to know if I need to wait to mark it recieved. I pm'd the member I ordered from asking her if she had forgotten the other book or mailed it separately. Since I only recieved 2. I guess what I want to know is if this is a recieved with problem or if you are on your own when it comes to the extra book deals. I am going to give her a day or two to reply to me. before I mark it recieved, if that is appropriate.?? or since I recieved the book ordered through the system do I have to mark it recieved . The worst part is I agree to accept the book I ordered when she pm'd me it had damage because I thought the 3 for 1 deal kind of lessened the damage aspect since I wanted to read the book regardless...
ok enough whining, Are The Deals in the Book Bazaar binding, Is This considered recieved w/problem. or can I wait to see if she responds before I mark it recieved.
edited to add. .....
ok, marked book recieved . no problems, she said she sent it separately, but I got the book I ordered and a free one. If somehow the other gets lost in the mail, still no problem.

They aren't binding b/c they aren't offical.
It is not as described, (both missing other books, and it was damaged--while the latter was PM'd so normally I wouldn't mark it RWAP it was also described as having 2 other books with it, so it's not right)
However, I'd delay in marking it at all until you hear back from her. I don't think that's a bad idea--there is a problem, find out what's going on then decide how to mark it.
If you received what you paid a credit for, you should mark it received. Certainly, also PM the sender to let them know a book was missing -- sometimes folks send orders in more than 1 package, and they arrive on different days (I've had this happen).
Per the Help Center:
"Members often post "deals" or "bargains" in the Book Bazaar, hoping to clean out their bookshelves and earn some credits. We do not officially support such deals (there is no credit compensation for unsatisfactory or unfulfilled swaps)."
Since your deal is not an "official" problem, per the Help Center, you must mark it received and not RWP, if you got the one you ordered with a credit. You can make a note about the problem in the notes area, so there is a record of it somewhere.
There is a thread below from a sender saying that they sent books for a book deal seperately and only 2 were received. Could this be your sender? I don't think she ever said why she sent the books out seperately.
No, Mary, this was a different person, I checked the post you were talking about. 'Thanks.
Anyway lifes too short to stress over a book.
ok, marked book recieved . with no problems, she PM'd and said she sent it separately, but I got the book I ordered and a free one. If somehow the other gets lost in the mail, still no problem. I got 2 books and she got her credit. Good deal for both of us....
I don't understand the separate mailing either but in this case it worked out. better part of an order getting lost than all . And I could still get the book , just cause they are mailed the same day doesn't mean they're delivered same day. (I hope)
