and of course it is on a wishlist hold.  It's a one hour autorequest which means it was 'posted' less than an hour ago, but i only just logged on a few minutes ago and discovered it there.

any ideas?

I have had strange things happening with my account too.  Use the feedback link to report the problem.  Be sure to include any details you can - title of book, time/date of request and anything else you can think of.

I would the Live-help and ask for advice how to handle this.  My guess is you will have to decline the request.  I would PM the person and say that you never posted this book and you don't know why it's on your shelf.

It could be a glitch and when it's accepted it'll go to the correct person.  I would contact a live-help person.

Feedback to R&R right away. Live help might be able to give some advice on handling the situation with the requestor, but only R&R can remove a WL book from the hold process. I'd message them right away with all the info you have. (Use "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page.)

If you can't figure it out after reading the suggestions in the link above (Liese, thanks!) then please use Contact Us - Send Feedback at the bottom of any PBS page.  The TG's cannot look at your account and figure out what's wrong, but the owners/staff can.  There have been a couple of glitches lately, and they would want to know.

I was going through my wish list yesterday and came across a book I hadn't put there, from a genre I never use.

Now, I guess I had better check my Bookshelf, too.
