Has anyone else noticed that the system seems to have trouble calculating the miles between places on the book passports?  I have one I just mailed from here, Cheyenne, WY, to someone in California, and it says it went over 6000 miles.  I am not the greatest at geography, but, I'm positive it is not 6000 miles from here to California! :)

LOL - I mailed one to someone in the same town I live in (we could have met at the train tracks) and it said the book traveled 16 miles.

When it comes to the mail, "The shortest distance between two points is a straight line" is not the rule!

Margie - Your little "bug" gave me quite a start yesterday when I saw it in another post...couldn't figure out how to kill it or get it off my monitor..now it just makes me laugh.

I had one that traveled across town and it was 6000 miles.  I guess it went the long way around, lol!   But knowing how the mail sometimes works...

Maybe it took a side trip to the moon, then came back! :)
