I have a book here that I'd like to post, it's in excellent condition, only been read once, the only thing that's wrong with it is that the first flap of the first page the TO and FROM area is filled in. Is this book postable or unpostable? I just want to be sure that I'm following the guidelines correctly... The book is below.

Fang Shui (Fang Shui for Felines) by Catfucius

is this like a gift book and the to and from are for the giver and recipient?   I'm not sure what you mean by the first flap of the first page---is it a text page other than the to and from?

If you mean the flyleaf, the very first page after the front cover, then the writing is acceptable.  From the Help Docs:

No writing or highlighting or underlining on text pages

  • a signature or note on the flyleaf or inside front or back cover is OKAY
  • an author's signature on the title page is OKAY
  • writing or highlighting or underlining on the text pages is NOT OKAY

thank you very much, yes i meant the flyleaf, couldn't quite remember the word lol and yes it is like a gift book and the to and from are for the giver and recipient, the TO area has a name and the FROM area has a name and that's it... nothing else is written.

It might be a disappointment to some, but your copy is totally postable, so send away :)

You may want to PM your requester prior to sending the book out, just to be sure that that specific requestor is okay with it. Otherwise, I don't think most members would have an issue with it - these books are used after all ;)
