I recieved a wish list book that has water damage on the last 60 pages. I really don't want to have to send it back as I have been waiting months to get this one, but I also am not pleased it has the water damage. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

I don't think there is a requirement that you send the book back, mark it RWAP, and if you want to, you can ask for your credit back.  I think it is then yours to do with as you please (personally, I'd read it anyway, but not repost it as it is unpostable)

I'm sorry this happened.

You can mark it RWAP.  If they want you to send it back, they will need to reimburse you for postage.

In any event, you don't have to send it back -- even if the sender requests and offers to compensate, you don't have to do so, since the inconvenience would be yours.

As others stated, you should mark it RWP, damaged by sender, and ask for your credit back if you want it refunded.

Cheers,

Catt

Thanks for the replies. I contacted the sender and she refunded my credit and apologized. She was very nice about it and I appreciate her understanding.
