No it's not really depressing, but I've read others by this author that left me bawling like a baby, and unable to bring myself to read anything else for quite a while afterwards.

I'm finished, it was a little depressing but not really that much, especially by the standard the author left me with her other book.

I find the Moth Love chapters depressing, at least to where I'm up to so far, after finding my copy again. I am a widow, and she does such a good job describing what it feels like to be a new widow. Reading it feels like running my hand over a bruise.

Latricia, I agree.  Those chapters have been depressing.  I am still only about halfway through, hoping to get it polished off over the long weekend.
