The only one I've read is The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette by Carolly Erickson. http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780312361501-The+Hidden+Diary+of+Marie+Antoinette It was fast, easy read. it was good, not great. |

There's also Abundance by Sena Jeter Naslund, which I've actually never read. I read Antonia Fraser's non-fiction about her several years ago - I think it read like fiction, IIRC. |

There is also Versailles by Kathryn Davis, which I haven't read yet. |

The Frenchwoman by Jeanne MacKin - about a woman who is a seamstress for M.A. The Queen's Confession by Victoria Holt - Not as dry as her other books; I enjoyed it. Farewell, My Queen by Chantal Thomas - This one dragged quite a bit for me and I can't even remember if I ever finished it. Love and Terror by Alan Jolis The Knight of Maison Rouge by Alexandre Dumas A couple that I liked that are set during the French Revolution, but are not focused on M.A. - Mistress of the Revolution by Catherine Delors To Dance with Kings - Rosalind Laker - This one is really Historical Romance, I think. |
