I have Twilight I wanted to post on here but it was used in a classroom and has RMS8 on the inside cover and then RMS 8 written on the top of the book.  Not on any of the pages.  Is there a way to make a note when I post it that states this?

The book you describe is allowed to be posted according to PBS guidelines.

  • a signature or note on the flyleaf or inside front or back cover is OKAY
  • an author's signature on the title page is OKAY

Page edges: remainder marks are OK.  A name written on the page edges is okay (if it does not bleed in and obscure text on the text pages)

There is no way to make notes for individual books that will be seen by other members.

We do NOT have a place for members to describe the condition of a particular copy of a book

You could PM the requestor after accepting the request, but it sounds as though the writing is within PBS guidelines, so unless *they* have a requestor condition about it, I wouldn't worry.

What's already been posted yes  Sounds like your book is postable per PBS guidelines, and frankly PMing the requesting member is likely to only complicate the issue.

That said, some members report success using sandpaper to remove dirt and some light markings from the edges of their books.  Won't work if it's permanent marker, but a pen or light marking might.
