This place is a baited trap deliberately set by the devil to entrap poor, unsuspecting book lovers. I was lured in with dreams of $1.99 books, but of course, my eyes were set on the more expensive books, 14 of them. *sigh*

Oh, well. I'm so excited about these books! I found SEVEN books from my Wishlist and the other seven books are all books about explorers. SEVEN new books about explorers! I'll be exploring by sea, land, and dog sled and I can't wait for this box to arrive. :-D

I think the $1.99 sale lasts through June. Here's a link, but don't click it if you aren't prepared to spend too much money. I'm warning you, don't click if you don't want to buy more books than you need....

Good for you Valli!  I found bunch of books on Sortfloor a few weeks ago....I found a couple of them on BCOuts as well but I ended with free shipping on SortFloor so I went with them.  I've bought a TON of books from BCOuts over the years, though.

I've never heard of "Sortfloor". Is that a store in your area or a website? Oh, geez, I guess I'll have to google; hopefully I'll be strong enough to resist if it's a website with great prices on their books.

Off to google...I will be strong.... I think I better get my credit card from my wallet, you know, just in case a book emergency occurs. I like to be prepared. ;-)

Michelle, Thanks for the heads-up about Sort Floor. I hadn't heard of it. Great prices!

Valli, I went to the devil a long time ago, so I can't blame BCO. ;-) I bought 6 books, including CATHEDRAL OF THE SEA BY ILDEFONSO FALCONES, when their $1.99 sale opened. I've been waiting for the PB version of CATHEDRAL for a long time.

I too decided to take a peek @ BCO and I ordered 14 books too!  I'm going to have to start laundering money out of our checking account to a swiss bank account so my hubby won't be able to track my purchases!

Boy, I'm a paragon of virtue compared to you guys....I only ordered 7 books my last time at BCO. :-D I only do a couple orders a year usually, thank goodness.

Well, I'm much stronger than you people!  I didn't order a thing!!!

Okay, I didn't order anything because DH would divorce me if I acquired any more books right now - especially ones I had to pay for, no matter how cheap they are.  I'm not any more virtuous than the rest of you, just more poor!

I did, however, find a few books to search for here on PBS.  Two of them are available, but I'm out of credits, of course.  Put them on my reminder list and will have to wait.

Oh, I've been that route before, Valli. Unless y ou bought comic books, I don't think anyone would laugh. BCO is definitely a dangerous place - I don't know if I want to check out SORTFLOOR.

Yesterday,I went into the UBS that I just discovered here in Tucson, and OMG is it beautiful and well stocked ( it's the SMALLESTof three stores owned by the same owners in town). I ended up restraining myself - only bought Mistress of the Revolution by Catherine Delors and a couple of mysteries by an author I get a kick out of!  When will I ever learn??? Is BOOK a 4 letter word? My DH seems to think so! Oh! and then my order from B&N was delivered!!!

I'm so glad I found people with the same problem (or is it "interest" or is it "addiction" or is it "love"...whatever)

Valli, I've just got to comment on this: after reading many of your posts in this forum, I'm trying to figure out if there is a book you haven't read yet!- LOL.- How is it possible for  you to keep finding books to read? ( I really do know the answer to this).

As for me, if I would stay out of this  forum more as well as perusing the Daily Digest, I'd certainly have more time to read those books that I've been whining about not having read !
