OK, so besides BooksforNooks and eBookfling I just also signed up for bookfriendme.  At this rate it's gonna be hard to keep track of where I posted books available to lend and to remember to remove them from the other two sites if I loan the book out on the third site!

I've loaned out two books already on bookfriendme and I've been looking for one measly book on the other two sites and finally I see it available on bookfriendme.  So I've requested it but I don't understand how the site works.

I found the nookbook I want, which is Wolf Tracks by Vivian Arend.  When I found it the site sayd that "1 person has this book and 1 want it.  So I clicked the "want" button and then it said "... 2 want it".  OK, so why didn't that first person ever get it and now it's at 2 people want it.  Then last night when I logged it to see if there was any update I saw that the books I have were missing and that the book I wanted was back at "1 want it" so I clicked "want" again and it went back to "2 want it".  Then when I logged it this morning my books have reappeared and "Wolf Tracks" is now at "3 want it".

I just don't understand how the site is loaning out the books.  Anybody have a clue?

Yeah, I have no problem being added to a wait/wish list but they have one in the system available so what's up with that?

I sent out the question so maybe I'll get a response.

Yeap, I have access to two great libraries and neither carries the author's books.

I can easily buy this myself but it's just the principle of I'd like to borrow it so I'll just keep patient and hope that it's posted on one of the three lending sites!  I have plenty to keep me busy.
