This book is the first" booknotes" I have read and I enjoyed it and I look forward to reading others. This type of book provides a brief synopsis of a group of books for future reading. There are well over 70 titles in this one about many historical figures such as Martin Luther King,Helen Keller, Robert E Lee, and the Kennedy's. Many topics are discussed such as the Birmingham Alabama bombing, the build up of the Civil War,the 1918 Influenza Pandemic. Many famous authors are included such as Tom Brokaw, Stephan B Oates,James Bradley,and David M Kennedy
