I got Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz from a friend, and I love it already, and I am only on page 54.

The book I got is The Hanging of Betsey Reed. It's a true story of the first and only woman to be hanged in Illinois and it happened in my hometown of Lawrenceville, Illinois. Very interesting. She poisened her husband with arsenic in his tea. The author is Rick Kelsheimer.

My brother and I are very close and I had to tell everyone how sweet he was!!!

I bought and read Darkest Evening of the Year and thought it was good, but I have all the Brother Odd books and I think they are the best Koontz books. I have 20th Century Ghosts on the way now.

Happy New Year to everyone, Christa:)
