Is there any way to get a book listed in my Books I've Read list if the ISBN is not in the database. The book in question has an ISBN 13, but not a 10, and the only book that shows up on a search has a different ISBN. I want to list this book in my list, but I'm not ready to post it for a swap. And, posting for a swap appears to be the only way to get it in the database.

I use my Books I've Read list to ensure I don't order a book i already have, or have read. Believe it or not, I have done that, even from a book club that tracks my purchases.

I usually just put every version on my BIR so I notice it when I'm looking for books. It only makes a note of the ISBN you rate. 

Make sure you are searching All Books and not just Posted or WL books.  Also have you searched by author name?  Sometimes you have to kind of search everything you can think of to get it to come up although typing in the ISBN should work. 

Charles, if you are checking to see whether you've read a certain book or not, you'd be searching by title, right?  So can't you just add the other ISBN, the title will still be the same?

Two good points. I was just trying to have the correct ISBN so when I decided to post the book, I would already have the info. But, I do check the list by book title, so I guess it doesn't matter which ISBN is there for now.  Thanks.
