Is there any way to add the contents of my bookshelf to the Books I've Read list?  I don't feel like entering every ISBN number individually.

Yes you can add them.  I usually do it as I'm browsing books that are incoming - and I rate the stars by clicking on them then open the button BIR or Other options and add them to it.  As for uploading a list of them - I don't think so.  I just do it as I come across them.

If the books are on your bookshelf now - you'll probably have to rate them which you can do right on the booksshelf then click on the BIR button.

ETA - go to your bookshelf and click on "View my Public Bookshelf" when it comes up you can do as I suggested above!

Thanks, that was not too difficult. Can other people see how I've rated my books?  I don't want people to choose not to order the ones I rated poorly because they may have different tastes...

No they can't see your individual rating. THey see a club average.  You see a red circle with a line through it on the books you've rated.

Reviewing a book is different than rating a book.  You have to rate a book by choosing to click on one of 5 stars then add it to your BIR.  Going to your Public Bookshelf is the easiest way to add books to your BIR from your bookshelf.  If it's books that aren't on your bookshelf you can go to the book's PBS page and click on one of the stars there to rate the book then add it to your BIR by clicking on "other options" button.
