Seems like less of us in the YA forum these days. I finished Out of the Easy :: Ruta Sepetys. It was excellent. Set in 1950s New Orleans. Well written with a very interesting plot and characters you want to get to know. It would make a great movie.

Anyone else reading YA out there?

I read that one a while ago Alice.  I liked her first one better, but I did enjoy that one too!

For myself, I've mostly been reading New Adult these days, but I did finish the FOUR novellas and enjoyed those.  I liked Tobias better than Tris anyway, so I think that's what made me really enjoy them.

I just finished Where She Went (If I Stay, Bk 2) Author: Gayle Forman. It really enjoyed this sequel. It took me a few pages to figure out it is told from Adam's perspective. I saw the movie for the first book and felt like it was a well done representation of the book and was amazing to see brought to life. I plan on reading the Divergent novellas eventually Val, I really loved that series. :)

Christina, my son (14) had me buy FOUR so I had to read it since we had it, y'know?  :)  My daughter (11) had me buy Where She Went so I guess I'll have to read that soon as well!  :)

I am reading Supernatural Devices (A Steampunk Scarlett Novel: Book 1) (Volume 1) :: Kailin Gow. I like Steampunk a lot and this is a fast read. Good story. I have to comment on the design of the pages. I would say about 40 percent of the page has no text. Terrible waste of space and paper.

I am reading The Inventor's Secret :: Andrea Cremer

I like most of her books. This one is bit of steampunk. Interesting plot and characters. Can't wait to get more time to read it.

I'm half way through listening to Let the Sky Fall by Shannon Messanger.  I'm really enjoying it and the narration is great, with 2 differeing narrators (male and female).  I will definitely get the follow up, Let the Storm Break.  And tonight I will finally! finish Insurgent which I have been reading since, I don't know, MARCH???

I finished Hexed (Hexed, Bk 1) :: Michelle Krys. It got better as it went on. Teenagers at school were a bit obnoxious but storyline was okay.

i finished Paige Rawl's biography POSITIVE last night.  Think I'll have my son read it since their health class is talking about stress, bullying, mental health and sexual awareness....covers all of those.

and i'm 1/2 way through listening to Redeemed.... Be nice to close out the series.

and on my Kindle I'm about 1/3 of the way through Jay Crownover's Rule.  I had listened to Nash and loved it and realized I had the first one on my Kindle that I got for free AAAAGES ago.

I read Marie Lu's new book The Young Elites. I loved her legend series so I wanted to read this one hoping it was as good. It wasnt what I expected, but I still enjoyed it. The story was interesting but there was not as much action and the character development wasn't as good.

I am reading Inside Out and Outside In by Maria Snyder. I am in the middle of the second book and the first was pretty good. This series is relatively unknown so if you are looking for something new it is worth checking out.

I have a question for you guys. I am reading The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson right now. In it, the main character rights poems on scraps of paper and leaves them all over the place. Like on napkins, scrap paper, etc. I swear I have read another young adult book where the character did this as well. It makes me keep thinking I have read this book before, although I don't believe that I have. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
