I had a book I requested and had not recieved yet. The system said it wouldnt do anything until June 9th. This mornign I had an extra credit. When I looked in the credit registry it said the book was lost in the mail. Did the sender mark it that way? If not, why did the system mark it lost?  

It often will mark it lost a day or two before the system action date you're given, for whatever reason. No idea why, but that's how it works. You should also have an e-mail notifying you that the system did this, and if the book was wishlisted, you'll be back on the wishlist; if there are other copies in the system, it gets put on your reminder list.
